Nominate a Peer

Start thinking now of some potential nominees for the 2026 Nominated Awards (the Young Architect Award, Associate Award, and the Legacy Award). The submissions window will open soon, and the deadline will be Friday, July 24, at 5 p.m. CT/4 p.m. MT.

The 2026 program information, nomination form and award criteria will be available soon.

There is no limit to how many years a nominee may be submitted for an award. However, a recipient may receive a specific award only once. Members of the current Design Awards Committee are not eligible to submit during their tenure, as they may serve on the jury for the Nominated Awards. The jury now includes architects and design professionals from outside South Dakota.

There is no entry fee for Nominated Awards submittals.
